half way through my first day of school!
it’s pretty rad so far.
i bought some art supplies and have to go buy more before work tomorrow.
oh my bank account is gonna be hurting LOL
oh and i had to go back to my car to drop some stuff off and i totally forgot where i parked so was walking around the structure for like 20 mins! ugh. total n00b moment.

This upcoming week is my last week of summer vacation!
actually it’s the end of my year long hiatus from school.
so this week I want to do something fun and exciting.
I have three days off from work so hopefully I can find something to do besides the free Antlers show @ the Getty.
But I’m not too bummed out about going back. I’m actually excited to be going back and starting at a new school.
so earlier this week Chris & I finished watching the second Star Wars trilogy (episodes i-iii).
The only times I really saw them were in the theaters so I didn’t really remember all the details.
And I wish I didn’t remember. Hah.
Fuck. it’s so lousy. it’s sad.
Well okay the whole thing isn’t that bad, just some things.
Like Anakin Skywalker is the worst character ever.
All he does is bitch and moan the whole time about loving Padme “too much” and how the council doesn’t respect him blah blah blah. typical teenager shit.
You would think since he’s the “chosen one” and all that he’d at least be a little wise and patient.
I just don’t get how this whiny kid grew up to become Darth Vader.
And besides Anakin, it really upset me how they killed off Padme.
So throughout all the movies she’s this very independent and strong woman figure and then at the end she dies cause she can’t bear to be without Anakin. Really?
What kind of message is that sending girls? She had children on the way and just decides to stop living cause of some selfish asshole.
I mean, sure we all get our hearts broken, but to stop living?
i know they had to kill her so that they could separate Luke & Leia, but they should have at least justified her death not made it into some bullshit.
The only decent actor in the whole thing was Ewan McGregor, but that’s a given cause he’s excellent in everything.
Okay end of rant. I just wish they had put more effort into the story line and character development of Anakin instead of focusing on all the visual stuff.
So Chris & I went to see this gem today.
Everyone kept saying it wouldn’t be great cause there are too many action stars in it and it seemed like too much.
Well, all along I was saying they were wrong, and guess what?! They totally were!
This movie was fucking great! LOL
the story was actually okay and the fight scenes were awesome.
Statham had these sweet knife fights which was a nice switch up. He’s so crafty.
And Bruce Willis & Arnold Schwarzenegger’s cameos were funny.
But yeah. Stallone doesn’t disappoint and I’m glad because I love when I have high expectations for a movie and they’re actually met.
